Note two data problems. This row is in the 0330 part number series, where every other tip lists brass — this one alone says copper. And its specifications are byte-identical to a tip in the 0331 series: same 101, same size 000, same copper, same 1/8 inch capacity. Two part numbers describing the same thing means one of them is wrong, or the material field on this row has been filled from the wrong series. Verify against Victor before publishing.

At size 000 this is the smallest cutting tip made, and its capacity is 1/8 inch.

That is worth understanding as a real limit rather than a starting point. Oxy-fuel cutting is a poor process on thin material: it works by burning the steel with an oxygen jet, and thin plate simply blows away and distorts. Sheet metal wants shears, a plasma cutter, or a saw.

Where a 000 tip earns its place is precision on light section — small parts, tube, and detail work where a bigger tip would destroy the piece.

Acetylene's rule: never above 15 psi. The gas decomposes explosively above that, without oxygen.
