The FyterTech NPSU1PH150 is an NPS Essentials 30 inch x 150 ft universal single-ply sorbent roll, perforated, heavy weight, grey, single-ply meltblown polypropylene, 36 gallon absorbency, 1 roll per case.

At 36 gallons this is the highest absorbency in the range — heavy weight universal on a 150 ft roll — and it is the product for an operation that expects to need it.

Heavy weight on a roll makes sense for a specific reason. A roll gets laid down and left there: along a machine, under a line, across a walkway. Whatever is laid there gets walked on, driven over, and dragged. A light sorbent shreds under that; a heavy one holds together and stays functional until it is saturated rather than until it disintegrates.

The perforation lets a length be torn off rather than committing the roll.

Universal is the specification and grey is the identifier — white is oil only across this range. Universal sorbents are treated so the polypropylene accepts water-based liquids as well as hydrocarbons, which makes them the right stock for an interior floor where the liquid could be anything.

The cost is water rejection. Universal outdoors fills with rain; on water it sinks. Weather and marine work need oil only.

Meltblown fibres create the capillary network that holds the liquid.

Saturated sorbents are hazardous waste.
