The FyterTech NPSO1PM150 is an NPS Essentials 30 inch x 150 ft oil only single-ply sorbent roll, perforated, medium weight, white, single-ply meltblown polypropylene, 30 gallon absorbency, 1 roll per case.

A roll rather than pads is a decision about coverage and about waste, and it goes both ways.

Where a roll wins is area. Laying a walkway under a leaking line, covering a bench, protecting a floor along a machine — those want a continuous run, and laying thirty pads end to end leaves thirty seams for liquid to find. A roll covers.

The perforation is what makes it flexible: tear off what the job needs rather than committing the whole roll. That is the compromise between roll and pad, and it works.

Where pads win is small work. Unrolling thirty inches of sorbent to catch a drip is waste, and a pad costs less than a torn section.

Oil only means the polypropylene is untreated and hydrophobic — it repels water and takes hydrocarbons, which is what lets it work outdoors in the rain and on water. White is oil only across this range; grey is universal.

Medium weight is the maintenance grade rather than the spill grade.

Meltblown fibres create the capillary network that draws and holds liquid.

Saturated sorbents are hazardous waste and go to disposal accordingly.
