CRC CRC03079 Grease 16 oz Red Aerosol 2 Aluminum Complex 25 to 300 °F

The CRC03079 is a sprayable grease in a 16 oz aerosol with an 11 oz net fill, packaged 1 each with 12 per case. It is an NLGI 2 grease on an aluminum complex base oil, red in colour, with a specific gravity of 0.72 and a working temperature range of -25 to 300 °F.

The -25 to 300 °F range is the specification to read carefully, because the low end is what distinguishes this grease from its high-temperature sibling. A grease that only performs above freezing is useless on outdoor equipment through a winter — it stiffens, resists distribution, and leaves the contact unprotected exactly when a cold start puts the highest load on it. This formulation is graded for equipment that lives outside and works year-round.

The aluminum complex thickener provides strong water resistance alongside its temperature stability, which is the property that matters on equipment exposed to rain, washdown, and condensation. Water washes conventional greases out of a bearing; an aluminum complex grease resists that displacement.

NLGI 2 is the general-purpose consistency grade — firm enough to stay in place, soft enough to distribute.
