Description
The Coxreels CXRP-LPL-425 is a P series hose reel supplied with 25 feet of hose at 1/2 inch inside diameter and 3/4 inch outside diameter. It is spring driven, rated to 300 psi, built in steel with a powder coated finish, and mountable to floor, wall, ceiling, bench, and vehicles.
The mounting flexibility is the practical specification here. A reel that mounts in five orientations solves the placement problem rather than dictating it: overhead in a bay where floor space is at a premium, on a wall where the hose should not cross a walkway, on a bench where the work is, or on a service vehicle where the reel travels to the job. One part number covers all of them.
Spring drive is the conventional retraction mechanism — the hose is drawn out against spring tension and rewinds under it. It is simple, has nothing to fail, and requires no power. The caveat worth knowing is that a spring-driven reel retracts at the spring's speed rather than a controlled one, so the hose end should be walked back rather than released, particularly on a reel mounted at head height.
At 25 feet and 1/2 inch inside diameter, this is a compact, moderate-reach reel — the specification for a defined work area rather than a bay-spanning run.
Steel construction with a powder coated finish handles workshop and vehicle-mounted service.
Applications include service bays, workshops, service vehicles, manufacturing, and general maintenance.
