Description
The Coxreels CXREZ-P-LP-335 is an EZ-P series hose reel supplied with 30 feet of hose at 3/8 inch inside diameter and 5/8 inch outside diameter. It is rated to 300 psi maximum pressure, built in steel with a powder coated finish, on a single pedestal reel design, and driven by the EZ-Coil® system.
The EZ-Coil drive is what distinguishes this reel and it addresses a genuine injury source. A conventional spring-driven reel retracts at whatever speed the spring delivers, which means the hose end whips back under full spring force — striking equipment, striking people, and taking fingers against the reel. EZ-Coil is a controlled retraction system that governs the rewind speed. The hose returns steadily rather than snapping back.
That is not a comfort feature. Uncontrolled hose retraction is a documented cause of injury in shops and service bays, and on a reel mounted at head height in a busy area it is a real liability.
The single pedestal design mounts the reel on one support, suiting installations where access is needed from both sides or where mounting space is limited.
Steel construction with a powder coated finish gives the corrosion resistance a reel needs in a wash-down or outdoor environment.
At 3/8 inch ID and 300 psi, the specification suits compressed air and general fluid service.
Applications include vehicle service bays, workshops, manufacturing, agricultural buildings, and fleet maintenance facilities.
