The TPI TPIIHP-30-H is an assembled high performance industrial circulator head and mount, 33.5 inch, 30 inch blade, 6,200 CFM low and 8,200 CFM high, 1/3 HP, 3 A, 800/1100 RPM, 120 V, 2 speeds, paddle blade, single phase, 1/2 inch shaft, 14.5 inch maximum depth, mountable on pedestal, wall, I-beam, ceiling, suspension or pole, steel housing, aluminium blade, 3 conductor SJT cord, 12 ft.

This is the high performance version of the standard 30 inch circulator in this range, and the comparison is instructive because the gain is modest and the reason is not.

Standard: 1/4 HP, 6,000/7,900 CFM. High performance: 1/3 HP, 6,200/8,200 CFM. That is a third more motor for about four percent more air.

The physics explains it. Moving air costs power roughly as the cube of the airflow — so raising output a few percent takes a disproportionate increase in horsepower. There is no cheap way around it, and any fan claiming a large airflow gain from a small power increase is measuring something differently.

What the extra horsepower actually buys is not in the headline number: it is the ability to hold that airflow against resistance. A fan pushing air through a duct, around obstructions, or against another airflow loses output, and a stronger motor loses less. In open air the difference is small; in a real plant it is not.

Same speeds, same mounting flexibility, same blade.
