Description
The TPI TPIACH30 is an assembled industrial circulator head and mount, 33.5 inch, 30 inch blade, 6,000 CFM low and 7,900 CFM high, 1/4 HP, 2.7 A, 800/1100 RPM, 120 V, paddle blade, 2 speeds, single phase, 1/2 inch shaft, 14.5 inch maximum depth, mountable on pedestal, wall, I-beam, ceiling, suspension or pole, steel housing, aluminium blade, 3 conductor SJT cord, 12 ft.
CFM is the specification and it is the only number that matters — which is worth stating, because blade diameter is what people compare.
Cubic feet per minute is air moved. A 30 inch blade at 7,900 CFM and a 24 inch blade at 6,800 CFM are closer than their diameters suggest, because CFM is a function of blade design, pitch, and speed as much as size.
What CFM buys in a plant is air changes and worker cooling, and the two are different. Cooling a person needs air velocity across skin — moving air carries away heat and evaporates sweat, and that works at a distance the fan can actually reach. Ventilating a space needs volume.
The mounting list is the real feature here. Pedestal, wall, I-beam, ceiling, suspension, or pole means the same head serves any of them, which is what lets a facility standardise on one unit.
Assembled means it arrives ready. The unassembled version in this range is cheaper and needs building.
The paddle blade is the industrial design: robust, and noisier than a shaped blade.
