RGF Portable Air 800 S FT PIP-MAX

The RGF PIP-MAX is a portable air purification unit rated for coverage of approximately 800 square feet, providing standalone air treatment where an in-duct system is not practical.

Portable units address a distinct set of situations. Buildings without ducted systems, spaces served by ductless mini splits, rooms requiring treatment beyond what the central system provides, and temporary or transitional applications all fall outside what an in-duct purifier can serve. A plug-in unit requires no duct access, no equipment downtime, and no installation labour, and it can be relocated as needs change.

An 800 square foot coverage rating should be read as a guide rather than an absolute boundary. Actual performance depends on ceiling height, room geometry, air movement, door and partition arrangement, and the nature of the contaminant load. Open plan spaces with good circulation approach the rating; subdivided spaces with restricted airflow between areas effectively reduce it, and larger or heavily loaded spaces may warrant more than one unit.

Placement affects results significantly. Position the unit where air circulates freely rather than in a corner or behind furniture, and away from obstructions that would short circuit intake to discharge.
