The Herculiner JBWHALB15 is a 15 oz black truck bed liner spray.

Bed liner coating is a textured, high-build protective layer, and the texture is the functional part rather than an aesthetic one. A smooth coating in a truck bed is a slide — cargo moves under braking and cornering, which is both a damage problem and a load security problem. A textured liner grips, and it also disguises the scuffs and marks that any bed accumulates.

The other half of the job is corrosion. A truck bed is painted steel that gets scratched by everything put in it, and every scratch is a rust start. A liner takes those hits instead of the paint.

The aerosol format is the specification to be realistic about. Fifteen ounces will not line a bed — that is a roll-on kit's job. An aerosol is for touch-up, repairs to an existing liner, small areas, rocker panels, wheel wells, tailgates, and coating things that are not truck beds at all: trailers, toolboxes, equipment, and steps.

Preparation determines whether it stays on. Clean, degrease, and abrade the surface — bed liner over contamination peels off in sheets.
