ACT ADP48-175-N-50 Heavy Duty Cable Tie 48" 35" Nylon Natural 175 lbs 15"

The ACT ADP48-175-N-50 is a 48" heavy duty cable tie rated to 175 lb tensile strength, with a 0.35" strap width and 15" maximum bundle diameter. It is supplied 50 per pack, with 10 packs per case.

At 48" this is one of the longest ties in a standard nylon range, and the 15" bundle capacity is the reason to specify it. Ties this long are used where the wrap has to take in a full cable tray run, a large hose or duct assembly, a group of pipes, or the bundle plus the structure it is being mounted to. A shorter tie simply will not close the loop.

Construction is nylon, finished in natural — undyed, and therefore intended for indoor and protected installations. Sunlight is what limits untreated nylon; for exposed work the UV-stabilized black equivalent should be substituted.

The 175 lb tensile rating gives the strap the strength to hold a large bundle without deforming, and the ratcheting head locks against the serrated body for a positive, vibration-resistant hold.

Applications include industrial cable tray and rack management, plant hose and line bundling, ducting and flexible conduit, machine builds, and large equipment looms.
