The JAZ JAZ78082 is a 4-1/2 inch regular twist knot wire wheel with 20 knots, .020 inch stainless steel wire, and a 5/8"-11 arbor hole, supplied in a bulk package.

Note the designation: this is a regular twist knot wheel, not a stringer bead wheel. That is a real distinction and it changes what the tool does. A stringer bead wheel packs its knots into a narrow band to work inside a groove. A regular knot wheel spreads them across a wider face, which trades groove access for coverage — it cleans a broader path along an edge or a surface.

The choice between them is the work: a multi-pass weld groove wants a stringer bead wheel, an edge or a face wants a regular wheel.

The stainless wire is a contamination specification. A carbon steel brush on stainless embeds carbon particles that rust and destroy the passive layer, producing rust spots on finished work weeks later. A stainless brush avoids that — and must never touch carbon steel afterward, or it becomes a carbon brush carrying the same problem.

Twist knot construction gives the rigidity to remove rather than polish. The .020 inch wire is the general heavy-duty gauge.
