The JAZ JAZ53052P is a 3-1/2 inch twist knot wire cup brush with .020 inch steel wire and a 5/8"-11 arbor hole, supplied in a bulk package.

A cup brush covers area where a stringer bead wheel works a line. The wire is arranged in a cup facing forward, so the brush cleans a broad circular footprint — which is what surface preparation actually requires: stripping mill scale, rust, and coatings off a panel rather than cleaning out a groove.

Twist knot construction is what makes it aggressive. The wire is twisted into tight, rigid bundles that strike the surface rather than sweep across it. A crimped brush at the same gauge polishes; a knot brush removes. That distinction is the difference between a brush that prepares a surface for welding and one that makes it shiny.

At 3-1/2 inches this sits between the small 2-3/4 inch brushes and the 4 inch and larger cups — enough footprint to cover ground, small enough to stay controllable and reach into corners and channels.

The .020 inch wire is the general heavy-duty gauge.

Steel wire means carbon steel work only. Stainless requires a dedicated stainless brush.
