The Yellow Jacket 60613 is a ratchet service wrench for operating refrigeration and air conditioning valve stems.

Valve stem packing is the seal that prevents refrigerant escaping around a stem, and it deserves attention whenever a valve is operated.

The packing is compressed around the stem by a gland nut. Over time it hardens, takes a set, and can begin to weep, particularly on valves that are operated infrequently and then moved after years in one position.
