Lewmar 66910441 CRW400 Windlass

Lewmar supplies the CRW400 Windlass under part number 66910441, catalogued within windlasses. Its purpose in a marine installation is raising and lowering ground tackle under power instead of by hand. Shipping weight is recorded as 36 lbs. Because the operating environment is wet and salt-laden, mounting position and sealing deserve attention at install time. It is catalogued under Anchoring & Windlasses in the Windlasses group. It is supplied by Lewmar as a distinct catalogue item rather than as a substitute for a similar model, so the part number 66910441 should be matched exactly when ordering a replacement.
