The Jackson Safety JKS14936 is an SC6 suspension, 4 sizing points, for head sizes 6-1/2 to 8 inch.

The suspension is the part of a hard hat that actually does the protecting, and this is worth being blunt about because it is widely misunderstood. The shell deflects and spreads the blow; the suspension is what stops the shell from reaching the skull. It holds the shell away from the head and it stretches on impact, absorbing energy over distance rather than transmitting it. A hard hat with a worn, cracked, or improperly fitted suspension is a helmet-shaped object.
