The Jackson Safety JKS14842 is an SC-6 hard hat, front brim, sized 6-1/2 to 8 inch, in high-density polyethylene, gray, with ratcheting suspension and chinstrap, 6 sizing points.

Gray is the neutral option in a coded range, and that has a specific use. Most hard hat colours mean something on an organised site — a trade, a role, an authority level. Gray usually means none of them, which makes it the colour for anyone outside the scheme: contractors who do not fit a category, facilities that run no colour code at all, or operations that simply prefer a hat that does not announce anything.
