Airex B Line Set Cover 75FT 750C

The Airex 750C is a 75 foot bulk supply of line set cover, intended for contractors installing multiple systems or long exterior runs.

Buying line set cover in bulk length rather than individual sections changes the economics for a contractor doing volume work. Cutting from a continuous supply means each installation uses exactly the length needed, offcuts from one job are usable on the next, and the per foot cost is lower than assembled kits.

The trade off is that bulk cover contains only the straight channel. Elbows, wall penetrations, terminations, and joint covers are separate items, and a vehicle stocked with bulk channel but no fittings cannot complete an installation. Establishing a stock of the commonly used fittings alongside the bulk supply is what makes the approach work.

Long runs bring their own considerations. Thermal expansion over a long length is meaningful, and cover installed hard against fixed terminations at both ends in cool weather can buckle in summer heat. Allowing for movement at joints prevents this.

Support spacing also matters. A long run inadequately fastened will sag between fixings, which looks poor and allows water to collect at the low points.

Confirm the channel size accommodates the line set including insulation. Plan fastener spacing to suit the substrate, and seal the top of the run and every penetration against water entry.
